• Refrigerated Incubators: Refrigerated incubators have a temperature range of 2-50°C, ± 1°C in air, measured at the sensor. These versatile chambers can be adapted to create environments requiring vibration resistance, complete darkness, intense lighting, or a combination of variables. Operation up to 60°C is also possible. A microprocessor controls and displays the chamber temperature, and high and low temperature mechanical failsafes protect chamber contents in the unlikely event of a temperature excursion.These incubators can be fitted with many accessories to create environments with low or high light levels, vibration-resistance, and many other variables. They can be used for applications such as zebrafish studies, BOD incubators, algae studies, and many more.

• Rodent Incubators:Powers Scientificrodent incubators offer a temperature and lighting controlled environment with an adjustable 0-15 fresh air exchanges per hour. The chambers have a temperature range of 6.5-40°C, making these good for thermoneutral studies, as well as for other scenarios including cold-exposure experiments or high temperature experiments studying the impacts of climate change. 

Since the air circulation systems on these chambers are designed to take and discharge air directly to the room, these units are primarily designed to be housed in vivariums. The isolated nature of vivariums keeps the odor of the exhaust air from disrupting work spaces. However, operation in a normal lab environment is possible with the involvement of an HVAC professional, who can route the exhaust port to a ventilation return to avoid odors in the lab.
Our rodent incubators are perfect for housing many species of caged rodents or other small animals such as rats, mice or even squirrels.

Any of these features can be deducted if they are not required, since our chambers are built to order. This allows you to tailor the incubator to fit your required parameters without paying for features that aren’t needed.
Many other options are available, including additional lighting or LED lighting, dual or multi-point temperature control for temperature stressing, vibration reduction, top-mounted or remote compressors, and/or additional outlets or access ports.
